Modifying win.ini for other languages?

Hi --
I installed Xp Home.  It wiped out my old win.ini file.  My old win.ini
file had some extra lines under [Font Substitutions].  The lines made it
possible for Photoshop, PageMaker, FileMaker, and other programs to display
Greek and Polish character sets.

Can somebody remind me what those lines are supposed to be?  Thanks

Are you sure they have not been moved to the registry? They should have
been.

Put another way -- is there something that is failing for you?

Yes.  I want a barred-l in two Native American languages.  I use the Polish
keyboard for that.  The barred-l does not show up in Photoshop, PageMaker,
or FileMaker Pro.

I need the win.ini settings.

I think you will find they are no longer used, even if you do move them
back. Instead, try adding them to the registry (where the actual font
substitution now lives and has lived for some time).
