I am regularly getting the following message when working in Word 2003. How
do I stop the message from appearing?

"The list of Common French (France) Auto Corrections is not available.  This
feature is not currently installed.  Would you like to install it now?
YES/NO"

I only need English language settings.  HELP!
Thank you

It sounds like your text is formatted in French, and French is activated on
your system, but the proofing tools are not installed.

You should be able to turn off the message in the Microsoft Office Language
Tools (go over START/Programs/Microsoft Office/Microsoft Office tools, or
something like that).

To make sure a document is formatted in the proper language: Ctrl+A, then
Tools/Language/Set language. Choose your language.

There are a number of reasons why the language might be changing in a document.
You'll find an article in the "Tips" section of my website that outlines how
language formatting works in Word.
