I´m using Word 2003 (German) with Windows Vista and I would like to have also
a greek spell check and thesaurus.   How can I install it?

Microsoft homepage offers just French for download.

Dear Bianka,
French, English and Spanish are already installed. You need to purchase the
Word 2003 Proofing Tools for Greek; there are 40 or 50 languages included.

At the Microsoft site do a search for Proofing Tools.

Biancca,

This is very late but I hope you see it.  I use Greek (modern Dimotiki)
quite often; I got a spellchecker for Greek about 10 years ago.  I saved the
files.  There are about four files.  They go into the PROOF or PROOFING
TOOLS folder.  I just copy them there, and Greek spellchecking works well.

I was told that in Word XP I would not be able to use the old Greek
spellchecking files, because XP had a new scheme for spellchecking.  So I
bought the XP Proofing Tools CD.  Guess what?  The GREEK spellcheck tools
are exactly the same!  Same dates, same versions, same size, and they work
perfectly.  So maybe XP changed the scheme for other languages -- but they
left Greek alone.

If you are lucky, you might be able to find those 4-5 old files on an older
disk.  Just be sure to copy them and keep them safe -- if you have a
computer crash, they are gone.

Good luck.

Lady D
