Hi,
Could you pls help me find out what has gone wrong with the way special
characters are being displayed in my Word 2003 files in Bosnian, Croatian or
Serbian (Latin).
What before used to be displayed as „č“ now changes into “è”, „đ“ into „ð“,
“ć” into “æ“...
As far as I am aware I haven't made any changes in Windows XP or Office 2003
settings.
This problem started since I installed a Computer Assisted Translation tool
in my pc. Do you think something has gone wrong with the general settings of
my pc?

Thanks in advance for any suggestion or help in resolving this.

It looks like your system code page changed from 1250 (Latin 2,
Central/Eastern European) to 1252 (Latin 2, or Western European)

Try to change it back, reboot, and see if it solves anything.
The setting is in the 3rd tab of "Language and Regional Options"
(see http://www.mihai-nita.net/article.php?artID=20050611a)
