I have Office 97 installed.  I downloaded the "Euro"
symbol several years ago.

The Euro symbol is displayed in Exel 97 under the list of
currencies.

But I can not find it to type in a Word document...it is
not on the Symbol (insert) tables.

I read that if I use "Alt+2" or Alt+0128  it would
type...but it does not.

Can someone help me with this problem.

Howard,

The ALT+0128 (from the numeric keypad) should do the trick.  I use this all
the time.
