Hello!
Sorry if it's difficult to understand me, but i am not used
to write about word in english. So if there is a question
about what i mean with this or that.. just ask :-)
I am formatting a text for a book. It has 348 pages, a
index, and all sort of things word can supply. The text was
written by 18 different authors, and i merged them together
and gave each one a own chapter.
I used a own document for it and all chapters are formatted
equal with my own templates (is it right to say template to
it?). Also i fixed the page size and made sure that all
pages use the same "distance from the text to the end of
the paper"(down know the word).
Now as i am finisehd and printed it out i saw that from
page 59 on the heading line is a bit below in opposite to
the starting pages. It's around 8 to 12 points deeper. I
looked through all things i can formate and found no
difference between my formats. I even marked them all and
gave them my starting formating. But still it's different.
Can anyone help me?
With greetings Tobias Reyntjes
P.S.: It's not first time for me to use word; made already
4 books, but this time i don't find the mistake!

A couple of things to check:

1. Display nonprinting characters (Ctrl+*) and look for extra paragraph
marks. If you copy/paste text from one header to another, no matter how
carefully you do it, you *will* get an extra empty paragraph, so that's the
most likely cause of the problem.

2. On the Layout tab of Page Setup, make sure you have Top rather than
Center selected for the vertical alignment.
