I have inserted a number of tables in a document. The
style that I use for formatting text has started adding
an underscore to the text in the table.

When I reformat the style I see that the underline is not
highlighted but still appears!

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you sure you haven't applied a border to the table cell or the table
text?
