A huge word document is divided into small files and each
file is formatted separately. After formatting when the
files are merged, using the file insert option the
formatting of the inserted file is reversed. i.e. all the
bold formats turns to normal and normal turns to bold. the
page setup and other settings are same in all the files.
even copy paste gives the same results. Is there any way
by which the formatting can be retained even after file
insertion?
MS-Word 2000 is used adn OS is Win 98.

Please see Shauna's reply to your previous duplicate question, asked only 11
minutes earlier. Note that this is a peer support forum, and you cannot
expect an answer immediately. If you have not received an answer within 48
hours, you may want to post a follow-up to your original question (not a new
question), providing further information, since it may be that the original
question did not contain enough data to permit anyone to formulate an
answer.
