Hi,
i use a multi section document and some of my sections are made just to be
used as separator of chapters..
it means they contains textboxes, drawings, and so on...

one of my text boxes (on my separator sections) must be integrated into my
table of contents at the start of document....

my text within textbox has a style and i included this style into my TOC
(table of contents)...
but it doesn't appear within my TOC result...

how can i make it work ?

thx,
Alain

Change the text box to a frame and Word will see the text in it.

Using a frame instead of a text box, as suggested by
Graham Mayor, adds the possibility of making a paragraph
style that includes frame formatting. In other words,
simply selecting a style would then place the frame, in
the desired position, and you could simply type the text
that should go there. While this may not be appropriate
for all situations, it can certainly come in handy at
times.

Stefan,

Very clever! Thank you!

(It's amazing how I could use the Format pop-down menu in Style -> Modify
for all these years, never notice "Frame" among "Font" etc, and never think
of its uses.)
