When I have a long document that I'm working on and I use
a particular numbering system, I get many duplicates of
it.  Why does that happen.  Very confusing.  Also, is
there a way to set up certain numbering systems and have
a name for each.  Thank you.  Lisa

See here for setting up numbering reliably:

http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html

Multiple numbering systems might do best if each had their own template
(method described in page above), but if you run into problems using the
information on the page, post back with specific questions and the numbering
gurus on this group (who are not me) will help you out.
