Hi,  We are working with a large document.  The first
section we do not want page numbering to appear, the
second section we want roman numerals and the final
seciont arabic numerals.  We have dived the 3 sections
using Insert Break, Section, Next page.  I have been able
to get the roman numberals for section 2,the arabic for
section 3.  However, whenever we try to format the first
section to no show the page numbers it removes the page
numbers from the other 2 sections.  When I went to the
help screen it said to do exactly what we are to get
different numbering for each section but it is not
working.  Is there anyway to suppress the numbers froma
particular section of a document?

You need to unlink the footers by turning off Same as Previous.
