Sorry if this topic has been covered before.

Is it possible to create a TOC and customized number
headings for a particular section in a document without
messing up the main headings and TOC?

Thanks,

Allyson

Hi Allyson

You should be able to achieve this using a separate set of styles for the
headings in a particular section and adding another TOC which refers to
those styles (and making sure the main TOC does not).

You can create a TOC for a specific portion of a document by bookmarking
that section and including a \b switch to the TOC field. See
