I often write about billiards in Word. When I use the
word "english" (which is not supposed to be capitalized)
to denote a certain spin on the ball I get the correction
message I should capitalize it. I have place the non-
capitalized word in the custom dictionary in small
letters, yet I still get the message. Any help will be
appreciated. Thanks

Wally,

Tools>Autocorrect Options>AutoCorrect>Exceptions>Other
Corrections.  Check the box marked "automatically add
words to list."

Tpye something like use left english.  When it
autocorrects to Cap to English then use the backspace key
and retype english.  Now Word displays as a spelling
error.  Right click and check "add."  This should solve
your problem.
