Hi.
I have been looking over Shauna Kelly's article on
setting up appendix headings and captions. I'm still a
bit confused (I might be a bit slow <g>)
I am wondering if it's possible to do the following
Main Table of Contents
Main List of Tables
Main List of Figures
Appendix Table of Contents
List of Appendix Tables
List of Appendix Figures
I have been going out of my mind trying to devise ways to
do this. If it's not possible, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Sally,
See the section titled "A Partial Table of Contents" in Suzanne Barnhill's
MVP article "Customizing your table of contents with switches." Follow this

To create the bookmarks she refers to simply select the area of text (for
example, the main text of the document), click Bookmark on the Insert menu,
type a name for the bookmark in the Bookmark name: box and click Add. The
same \b switch will work with a table of figures (figures) and a table of
figures (tables).

Alternatively, if you've used Shauna's advice to set up your appendix
headings, it's just a matter of creating an appendix TOC using only
that/those heading levels.
