Blank page at end of document

Hi.  I previously asked this question and received a
response, but I can't find the response when I do a
search.  I apologize for having to post again.

I am working with a document that has a table on its last
page.  Because the table is automatically followed by a
paragraph, this ends up on the next page and a blank page
prints out at the end.

I have tried everything to shorten the table to leave
room on that page for the paragraph, but it's not
possible.  I have selected the paragraph mark and changed
the font to "hidden," but that hasn't worked.

Is it humanly possible to get rid of that page?

TIA.

Lyn,

Try formatting the paragraph with font size 1pt

Thanks, Greg.  I'm trying that right now and it's not
working.  Now my page numbers are all off by one.  :(

You might already have done this - but - have you tried
decreasing the size of your headers/footers.  If not,
click on View/Header/Footers, and then using the vertical
ruler, decrease the size.  This will give you more room on
your page.  If you have alredy tried this then I apologise
for wasting your time.

After changing the font to Hidden, did you hide nonprinting characters? You
won't see the page reduction (except in Print Preview) till you do that.

That did the trick.

Thanks to all.

Something we've used in the past is to change the last
paragraph marker to 1pt font.

Another thing you could do is insert a section break
before the page with the table and change the bottom
margin or footer just for that section.
