Okay, heers my problem. Im doing AS Level ICT courseowork. It is due i
tomorrow, and i have a little bit left to do, but thats not th
problem. I saved most of it unto a CD today and then brought it int
school, to print out most of it, when I loaded it up I was shocked..
The titles, were out of place, the text was out of place, th
tables, ditto, the screenprints ditto. It was an overlapping, mumbl
jumbly piece of junk. I showed my teacher and she suggested holdin
shift and clicking on the pictures and grouping them, however, when
tried to do that there now it brought about the same effect. I am los
and in a really bad pickle, please help me out, thanks

This is probably caused by a different Printer/Printer Driver setup.  It may
be too late to help you now, but if you are going to move documents around
like this, you should make sure that you have the same Printer Driver
installed on both PC's and select that printer in Word when you are creating
the document.  Word will then format the document to suit that printer.  You
should also make sure that the fonts that you use are available on the
computer which will be used to open the document and print it.  Otherwise,
Word will have to substitute fonts which may also cause the formatting of
your document to be changed.

At least the printer driver issue is supposed to be dealt with if you
make sure that you have a tiny compatibility option unchecked (Tools |
Options | Compatibility: Use printer metrics to lay out documents; IIRC
it's on as per default in Word 97 and off from Word 2000 upwards, though
with legacy documents who knows :-)).

Next time, to be on the save side, convert to PDF before transporting.
