Using Word 2000

I want to make 2 columns of bullet points
I did the following:
Inserted bullet point
typed text
pressed tab twice
attempted to insert bullet point and type new text
It will only allow me to type one column of bullet points
and not two.

How can I do this?
Thank you

I believe you have 2 choices: 1) make the section with 2
columns, which probably isn't feasible or 2) Create a
table with 2 columns & as many rows as you need. Then the
table entry paragraph can be bulletted. With no grids
displayed the table will simply be 2 columns of bulletted
items.

I believe you should be able to select the bulleted text
and click on the columns button on the standard toolbar
and it will seperate it into to columns.  You should be
able to type normal under the columns.

Please let me know if this was what you were needing?
