Help please.
I am trying to produce a header for left and right pages
The left (even page) has page # and Section name flush left.
The right (odd page) has Section name and page # (in that order) flush left.
I am using cross references (at least trying to).
How do I do this automatically? Do I need to create a separate style for
left and right headers?
I have the same problem creating footers.
I have worked with the page layout function to no avail.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

You should be able to do this in the header and footer
dialog. Make sure you select odd/even pages are different
and if for some reason your cross-references produce an
error, try bookmarking the reference then cross-
referencing to the bookmark.

On the Layout tab of Page Setup, check the box for "Different odd and even."
You will then have an Odd Page Header/Footer and an Even Page Header/Footer.
Insert the desired text directly in those headers. If your "Section Name" is
in the document in a particular style (Heading 1, for example), you can use
a StyleRef field to avoid having to change the header for each section.
