Hello,
I'd like to remove tabs from numbered lists.  The tab
follows a capital letter followed by a period.  As I work
my way down this large document, I might also find list
items starting with small letters, Arabic and Roman
numerals.

Thanks in advance for your help.

When you set up the numbered list (Format | Bullets and Numbering | Outline
Numbered | Customize), you can substitute a space or nothing for the tab.
For best results, apply numbering only using styles, as described in
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html
