I have a user with a iuuse with MS Word tracking feature.
And importing word files with tracking into Quark 5.
It's converts the numbers in roman numerals & and the
highlights become part of the text.

Is this a problem with Word or Quark?

well, what speaks against resolving all tracked changes first BEFORE
trying to export the whole stuff (btw, we don't even know HOW you export
it ...)? I mean, you wouldn't expect Quark to handle the tracking
information in any meaningful way (at least, I wouldn't ...), so why not
get rid of it first!
