I am creating documents in Office XP from OmniPage Pro 12. After I recognize the page in OP, I can double-click on the graphics in the OP text editor and open Paint to edit the picture.
If, however, I export the page from OP to Word, the double-click on the same image no longer opens paint. Instead, it opens the "Format Picture" dialog. If I right-click on the image in Word, the "edit picture" selection is greyed out.
Can anyone tell me what is happening?
Hi Gary,
Probably, OmniPage is creating and exporting these graphics in a format that is
NOT WMFG. Word's picture editor is only for handling Word's native graphics file
format, *.wmf.

If OmniPage is creating the image in something incompatible with
Windows, why can I open the graphics in OmniPage before I export it to Word?
