Formating problems opening word 2000 files

With word 2003, and i open a word 2000 doc, my end of
page lines are wacked. one line will display one or two
letters of the line for like 5 lines ( breaking the line
up ) and i have to delete them and readd them?
any ideal or fixes.

This sounds to me like an issue with the graphics card
driver.

Do you still see the "messed up lines" if you switch to
Normal view? Or when printing out the document?
