I am using Word 2002 with Windows XP. I finish a document
and save it, then when I go back I find a paragraph or
two changed to a much smaller font.  Line spacing may
change from double to 1.5 or to single space on some
pages. How can I keep it the way I saved it?

Hi, Betty.  This behavior is usually caused by enabling "automatically
update" in some or all styles in your document.  See
http://www.word.mvps.org/faqs/formatting/wholedocumentreformattedcontent.htm.

Thanks for the clue. My computer keeps telling me there
is no such url, but I am going to look at
the "automatically update" features.

It's the same article, but try this link. Link may be broken by text
wrapping.
