Hi,
I am trying to prepare a document that has different
margins on the first page than the rest of the document.
It works fine but when I try to insert a header, the first
page header says "first page-section one" and the second
page says "first page-section two". I need the second
page header to say "second page".
I tried to insert a page break at the end of page 1 but it
then inserts a blank page between my 1st and second
pages. What am I doing wrong? I have been trying for
hours.
Thanks in advance.

correct way to do this.

Hi Chrissy
It sounds like you have the section 'start at' page number set to 1 - you
probably changed it for the first section when you changed the page number
format to 'first' - it is then inherited by the second section when you
insert the break. It's usually best to leave this set to 'continue' except
where you do need numbering to restart within the document.
