I am running Word 2000 on XP Professional. I have a large Word doc that is about 16,000 kb. Sometimes when I save it, it locks up my computer so bad I have to restart? What gives.... I read the info & I don't use those things. The doc may be corrupt, but Word seems to have some problems. eg help locks up, I retrieved an older version of the same doc at a time when I didn't have this problem & I have the problem even with the old file? I removed & reloaded Word, but that didn't do anything? I think it is a Word problem?
