What settings do I need to change in Word 2000, or how do
I go about doing it so that instead of adding a footer
manually each time to my document to list the filename
and path, Word will do it automatically.

1. In a new document, View | Header and Footer.

2. On the Header and Footer toolbar, click the Switch Between Header and
Footer button.

3. From the AutoText menu on the toolbar, choose "Filename and path."

4. Save your document as a template and use it to create new documents. *Do
not* make these changes in Normal.dot, as they will cause problems with
labels.
