I want a couple of my pages within my document to have a
different footer from the rest of the document.  Is there
an eay way to do this

You'll have to insert a section break at the beginning of
the couple of pages, and one at the end.  That will then
allow them to have a different header/footer from the rest
of the document

Also, you will need to turn off 'same as previous' in both of the new
footers, by clicking the appropriate button on the Headers and Footers
toolbar (if you float your cursor over it with tooltips enabled, the tooltip
will read 'Same as previous').  Otherwise, any changes you make in the
footer for the two pages will automatically be reflected in the footer of
the previous and following sections.

Chad
