Hello:
I am trying to supress a header on select pages only ...
I've inserted section breaks, but when using the "don't
use previous header" option it removes the original
header from all the following pages.
I would, however, like the footer information to be the
same across all pages.
I would like something like:
header on page 1 & 2
no header on page 3
header on page 4 & 5 & 6 & 7
no header on page 8 & 9
header on page 10
no header on page 11
Is this possible to do?
Many thanks.

Your approach is basically right. Create the document with header and footer
as you need. Insert section breaks. Then go to each section and clear the
'Same as previous' setting for each header. This makes them all independent.
Then delete the headers you don't want.

Many thanks for your reply.
Is there a way to create a header that appears on non-
contiguous pages, but that doesn't make each header
independent? I'm trying to avoid making duplicate edits
for each header that appears after one of the blank
header pages.

You can have separate headers for the first and subsequent pages of a
section (also different odd and even, but from the sounds of it that won't
help you here). Set up your document so that the first page header for a
section is blank and the subsequent pages headers are standard. Then insert
a next page section break before each page for which you don't want a
header.

If you are sure these page numbers don't change every now and then,
there's an easier approach than section breaks: put an IF field in your
header that checks whether the PAGE field shows one of these said page
numbers, and show nothing then, else show what you want to be in the header.
