I have a large document (i.e. 500+ pages) with many
independent textboxes (i.e. 200+). For some strange
reason, some of the textboxes towards the end of the
document are linked (click on one text box and many of
the other text boxes are also selected) and contain bogus
data. The boxes were somehow auto linked by WORD, but the
textbox toolbar does not allow me to unlink them. They
display also in print preview, but do not print in
hardcopy.  Many of the linked boxes were introduced by
WORD.  It sounds like a bug.  This problem occurs in WORD
2000/SR-3 and WORD 2003.
Any suggestions?

G'day "Dennis Sacca" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com>,

I hate Word's text boxes for a million reasons, and this is merely one
of them. Not being rude, but for what effects are you using them?
Maybe we can reduce the number you require by giving you alternative
means of presenting the text. Otherwise there is little that can be
done I'm afraid. You could try a Maggie - cut and paste everything
except the last paragraph mark into a new document - but I strongly
doubt it's effectiveness in your case.
