I am using Word 2000.

I am typing a memo and half way down the page I want to
add columns, but when I do, it puts the whole memo in a
column like a newspaper.  Why???  What am I doing wrong??

Please help.  I had this problem before.  I want to fix it
now.

To count the number of words in a document or selection,
click Word Count on the Tools menu.
