Margins

I have been typing a long document that will eventually
become a bound family history book that has text, tables,
and pictures.

I have set the margins at 1" all the way around and in
typing the text wraps around as it should.  However, after
typing approximately 75 pages I happen to notice that the
right side of the paper has uneven amount of space as
compared to the left.  I checked the margins for the
entire documet and it stills says that the margins are set
at 1", but it clearly shows that the right is much more
than 1".  How do I fix this?  I am racking my brains over
this one.

Thanks for any help.

Have you pasted in text from the Web or an email? If so, you probably have
line breaks at the ends of lines. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/CleanWebText.htm (and
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/NonPrintChars.htm for tips on seeing
what's gone wrong).

If that's not the answer, check the paragraph formatting to make sure no
right indent has been applied (if you have the horizontal ruler displayed,
you should be able to see this easily when you click in a paragraph).
