You can print a list of shortcut keys via File-Print, and change the Print
What box, and choose Key Assignments.

Open Tools | Customize, click on Keyboard..., and choose any command at
random. In the "Press new shortcut key" box, press Ctrl+A. Note what command
Word says Ctrl+A is assigned to (besides EditSelectAll). Then find that
command and remove the assignment.
