Hiya,

I have a very long document, 90 pages of which are full of text boxes (15
text boxes to a page -a colleagues idea of a 'form').

I have now inherited this document and the text within the text boxes does
not (now) match the corporate image - i.e. it should all be Arial 10pt not
Times New Roman 12pt.  I have to change it.  However, if I select more than
one text box at a time (shift - left mouse-click) the option to change the
font and font size is greyed out.  Is there a way of doing this?  I really
dont want to spend days doing each text box individually.

Many thanks for any help or pointer to a resource, Shaun

Have you tried doing just this: Ctrl+A and change the font and point size
(through Format | Font if necessary)? Whenever you select more than a
certain amount of text, many of the formatting options are blanked, but they
are still usable.

Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for the reply but that selects just the text outside the text boxes
and not that inside which also has to be changed - unless I'm missing
something?

Cheers, Shaun

I guess you're right. That being the case, I think you'd have to have a
macro to change the font. Alternatively, you should be able to use Find and
Replace to find all the text in a given style (including that in text boxes)
and apply the Default Paragraph Font (assuming that that has been changed to
Arial 10 pt).

I'll have a look at that.  Thanks again, Shaun

Suzanne,

Many thanks for your help.  I have used 'find' 'replace' before but had no
idea I could use it to find and replace formatting (fonts etc).  It works a
treat and I'm very grateful.

Shaun
