MS Office Forum / Word / Long Documents / April 2005Stupid Grey Undeletable Brackets
They appeared on several .docs as I was trying to get 2003 set up to my liking again. Now I can't get 'rid' of them. I have one longdoc that has one (cut/pasted) page (and the orig.) that STILL has these brackets. And I've forgotten what they are, how to get rid of 'em!!! (Thought I had a message marked re this, but can't find it either... Sigh.) --- avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean. Strange as I don't really use bookmarks, I like 'comments' much better for my needs. So don't know how they got there to begin with! >That will hide them. Some bookmarks are inserted by Word (when you create a TOC, cross-reference, etc.), but they are hidden, so you'll never see the brackets for those. SignatureSuzanne S.
