Hi,

I have a set of WORD documents using the same set of
styles (30 or so).  Now I have updated the styles in one
document.  How do I copy these updated styles to the other
documents?  I wish to keep these customised styles with
each of these documents, ie. do not want the Normal.dot to
keep these styles.  Updating the style definitions in each
document will take forever.

Your help is appreciated.

you can use the Organizer to copy styles between documents and/or
template files. Maybe right now, it would be wise to create a template
of your own for these files and follow the "normal" way:

The usual approach would be: Create a template (*.dot) for your set of
files. Generate the files (*.doc) from these. If, at any point, you wish
to update a certain style, you change it and play it back into the
template ("Add to template" checkbox in Format | Style | ...). Then, in
the other documents, use "Automatically Update Document Styles" from
Tools | Templates and Add-Ins.
