I'm using Word 2000.  I recently compared documents and found a few
edits.  It was handy.  Unfortunately, when I closed the "good"
document, and opened it up again, the red lines in the margins were
still there!  I can't get rid of them!

Now, if I'm goiing to used this document, after having compared and
confirmed that the edits are proper, I've got to turn the dang
red-margin lines OFF.

How do you suppose someone could do that?
