We are constantly having users complain when they share
documents.  Some of our users have HP Laserjet 5si
printers for defaults.  Others have 4s or 6.  If a user
save a 15 page file while defaulted to a 5si and then goes
to a different user desktop that may be defaulted to a 4L,
the document pagination changes.  Is there a workaround
for this annoying problem?

Hi, Michelle,

No, there really isn't a good workaround. See
http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm.
