Does anyone know if there is a way to protect a watermark
from deletion in a Word document.  In other words, our
office would like only the creator of the watermark to be
authorized to remove it.  We use both Microsoft97 and 2000.

Thank you.

Assuming that the watermark is anchored to the header, I'm told you can
insert a section break at the very top of the document and protect the first
section (which will include only the header).
