How do I delete an auto-formated line?

I have a Word Doc that has several lines that were created
with the auto-format (correct) feature.  I typed ===
<enter> and Word replaced it with a double line.

I cant get the lines out of my document!!!!!  HELP!!!!

It is a paragraph border.  Format>Borders and Shading>Borders.  Check
"none."
