creating links within a document

I have a 30 page document which begins with a table of
contents. Is it possible to create a link on the table of
contents that will bring the reader to the corresponding
page of interest? Please help! Thanks.

This is already done automatically. In Word 97 and earlier, only the page
number is hyperlinked. In Word 2000 and above, by default the entire TOC
entry is hyperlinked. In Word 2002, unless you have changed the default, you
have to Ctrl+click to follow the link.
