MS Word - set a background image

hi
 please help me out
 it's urgent
 how do i set a background image for a particular page in
a word document with many pages.i tried to seperate the
page ,then set the background and then merge the two
documents. but it's not working.
am i missing some thing else?

If I get your problem right, you just want to change one
page's background and leave all others in the document
blank.
This can be done by section breaks ("Insert"-"breaks"-
"section break types") Then you can format every section
individually.
