How Do I Keep Two Words Together

I know that there's a way of keeping two words together,
but I can't remember how and I can't seem to find it in
help (keeps taking me to "keep_lines_toghether"). Thanks, Joan

Joan,

Non breaking space is CTRL+SHIFT+Spacebar a non breaking hyphen is
CTRL+SHIFT+hyphen.
