Everytime I alighn my toolbars next to each other on the same line and close
the program, when I open it again, they're right back on the two lines tey
were on before. How can I keep them on the same line?

Do you have tools > options save configured to prompt you to save
normal.dot? Are you saving normal.dot at the close prompt?

Have you cleared the check box for "Show Standard and Formatting toolbars on
two rows" on the Options tab of Tools | Customize?
