I have many documents that contain a text piece.

I would like to have this text piece in a document to aside and when I
change this text piece, automatically is updated in all the documents that
contain it.

Can I do it?

Thanks
Oriol

Hi Oriol,

Use and INCLUDETEXT field.

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested.  Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps

Hi Oriol

Another option is to store as an AutoText in the document template and use
an AUTOTEXT field. Note that both this and the INCLUDETEXT method require
fields to be updated before any change is seen in the document.

Or you could look at inserting the text file as a linked object. This can be
made to update automatically on document open, but the formatting and
editing implications are different from the INCLUDETEXT field.
