I am a new Word user. In my former word processing
package I used "automatic indention". I could type a
heading such as a name, tab over, and the remainder of
paragraph indented automatically. Is that possible with
Word?
Thanks for any help you can give me!

It sounds like you need to set up a style with a hanging indent. But
pressing Ctrl+T repeatedly may give you a rough approximation of what you
want.
