I purchased MSOffice XP two months ago and proceeded to
move manuscripts created with word from an old version.
Everything seemed to work fine until...

My manuscript with 129,000 words was selected and pulled
into the Word XP window, and every page is underlined with
a blue wavey line.

How do I get back to a 'normal'view? Even when I used the
Tool, fix broken text, selection, nothing works.

The wavy blue line indicates formatting inconsistencies. You can disable
this display on the Edit tab of Tools | Options. For more on these markings,
see the Help topic "What do the underlines in my document mean?" Another
enlightening Help topic is "I see something unusual in my document."
