how can i convert a Word doc into a pdf file??  can i copy
and pates from word to pdf??

On the first - I've heard that if you go to adobe.com, there is a facility
there for converting Word docs into pdf.

Can't say on the second - maybe the answer is at the above website?

You need a program like Adobe Acrobat distiller (not the
free reader) or JAWS PDF Creator (there are many others,
too) to create the PDF. You can't simply copy & paste into
an existing PDF.

You need to have a program, ie. adobe writer.
