Having "upgraded" to Work 2000, when I create a table of authorities, the
field entries do not disappear when I click the "P" button. All other field
go away but the table of authorities entries do not.

When I do a print, they go away.

When I do a print preview, they are there. {TA .....}

In short, I am unable to get a view of what the document look like on the
computer.

Does anyone know how to get around this?

Check Tools/Options/View and make sure Hidden Text is not
