To whoever can help,
I have a letterhead which goes down the right hand side of
the first page of all letters. This is set as a header.
Unfortunately I need to adjust the paragraph indent to set
it in 1 inch ot the right on the first page so as not to
overtype the letterhead. However on all subsequent pages I
want the paragraphs realigned to the right of the page.
The problem is this needs to be a template for all letters
and I can't see an easy way of doing it except using
section breaks. the problem with these is that the section
break can be moved by the user so if someone inserts text
on the first page which runs over onto the second it would
be subject to the first pages' paragraph formatting.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated. I am using Word 2000
and, occasionally, Word 2002.

For an alternate approach, see the "More complex letterhead" section of
