I am using Word 2000
I have forgotten how to format a column to line up via the
decimal point. This is not a currency column. The column
contains numbers like -- <0.01, 0.3, >200 etc. I simply
want to line the numbers up by decimal point. Can anyone
help me?
thank you -- aurora

hi. do you know how to set tabs on the ruler? if so,
click on the the little tab thing on the left until you
come to the one that looks like an upside down "T" with a
dot to the right of it. that's the decimal tab. click
on it, then click on the ruler where you want to put your
decimal.
alternatively, go to "format" then "tabs". box will open
up that gives you a choice of tab types.
choose "decimal" then type in where on the ruler you want
the decimal tab.
hope this helps.
